Harmony Hill Farm Warren Maine Wedding | Brianna & Matthew

When Brianna contacted me about photographing her wedding at Harmony Hill Farm in Warren, Maine, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding at a new venue that I hadn’t yet visited. While the photos I had seen online were beautiful, they didn’t compare to how breathtaking this venue truly is!

July 30th, 2022 was Brianna and Matthew’s wedding day. Brianna and the girls got ready in the wedding suite and the guys got ready offsite, arriving at the farm later to put on their boutonnieres. When the guys were ready, I photographed them in a lovely shaded area near the woods. I photographed the girls under the willow trees, which was also the location of the wedding ceremony. The couple told me that they loved willow trees and had specifically chosen this venue to get married under them. I was so amazed with how many beautiful locations there were for photos at this fabulous venue!

After the ceremony, we wandered around the property and took photos at many gorgeous spots along the farm. The wedding reception was in an elegant farmhouse that was stunningly decorated with flowers and ivy. Brianna and Matthew shared their first dance on the farmhouse dance floor and then we took more photos at sunset (going back to the willow trees, of course!)

After an evening of dining, dancing and laughter, the couple ended the evening with an unforgettable sparkler exit. It was truly a wonderful day and I’m so happy that Brianna and Matthew chose me to be part of it!

Here’s my interview with Brianna:

Q. How did you two meet?

A. We actually met on Hinge (a dating app). We talked on the phone for hours before we ever met in person, it was really sweet. And our first date was on Christmas Eve!

Q. When and where did you get engaged? Tell us about the proposal.

A. We got engaged Memorial Day 2021. I met Matt and the kids at his house before going to a family BBQ, where he surprised me. I wanted a quieter proposal. But it was nice to celebrate with family right after we got engaged!

Q. How did you envision your wedding day? Tell us about your color palate, style and/or vision.

A. We envisioned a romantic and ethereal rustic barn wedding. Our wedding colors were dusty rose and greenery, but we wanted our wedding flowers to resemble a field of wild flowers. We used Eastern River Farm as our florist and the flowers were even better than I could have imagined!

Q. What is your favorite moment of your wedding day?

A. We didn't do a first look, so favorite moment was finally getting to hold hands at the altar. We were both so happy.

Q. Is there anything else you’d like to share?

A. We were delighted to get married in Maine. We actually live in Maryland, but Matthew is from Maine and still has family there. My family thoroughly enjoyed visiting his home state, it's beautiful! Also, our desserts were from Wicked Whoopies but actual wedding cake was made and decorated by Matthew's aunt! She's pretty talented!
